Football is one of the most popular sports in the US and the National Football League has thousands maybe millions of fans screaming for their favorite team. On September 20, 2005 the famous Dallas Cowboys broke ground on the building of the most expensive NFL Football Stadium in the world.
The new stadium is designed by Bryan Trubey from the Dallas based architecture firm of HKS Incorporated. It will accommodate up to 100,000 roaring fans. Some of the plans include monumental arches, a 661,000 square foot retractable roof with a hole that resembles that of the Texas Stadium, an 86-foot glass wall, and retractable end zone doors. The stadium if all goes as planned will open in Arlington, Texas in 2009.
The estimated cost of this fabulous stadium will cost $1,000,000,000 and will not only be the most expensive NFL Stadium but will also be the largest.
